I was lucky enough to be invited by one of the top and most respected fashion designers in the Philippines, Mr. Dong Omaga-Diaz to attend the Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP) and Young Designer’s Guild of the Philippines (YDG) METROWEAR FASHION SHOW.
Equipped with my canon SLR and GUTS, i braved the NBC Tent at the Fort Bonifacio Global City last 30 July 2009 amid the most fashionable people in the metro. The show was a huge success, in terms of the production, the music, the models, and of course, the fashion designers with their masterpieces. I’m not really an authority in fashion (whehe), but the creations presented simply took my breath away, all awesome! I could see and feel the passion of the designers glimmering from their works of art. Kudos to all the designers, organizers, models, staff, and sponsors! More power to the Philippine fashion industry!
My simple wish next time (asking for more is sometimes good!) : I wish i could take photos of the models while they are in the backstage…whehe. Hail the Philippine Fashion industry! Hail athanism! whehe.
